| With the end of the Cold War and the swift impact of globalization, the whole world entered the period of "risk society". The changes of the global crisis form caused important influence on the transitional China. Various of crisis occurred frequently home and abroad because of various factors. It has become a very important task to strengthen crisis management. Crisis occurred within a country are more likely to cause "spillout" effects, which urges the formation of international crisis management cooperation.The dissertation aims to explore the brand-new model in international crisis management cooperation, that is, the China-ASEAN model, which is totally different from the US model and EU model, by analyzing the connotation of international crisis, the causes of crisis and the theories international crisis, classifying the common crisis faced by China and ASEAN, carding the development course in international crisis cooperation in coping with the Asian Financial Crisis, SARS, Bird Flu and the Indian Ocean Trunami, and evaluating the cooperation mechanism and abstracting the characteristics.Chapter One tries to probes into the connotation of international crisis, the causes of crisis and the theories international crisis, including the connotation of crisis, crisis management, international crisis, international crisis management, international cooperation and the characteristics of the international crisis etc.Chapter Two tries to expound the importance of bilateral relations between China and ASEAN, analyze the common crisis and challenges faced by both sides, resume the theory of Interdependent and the Game Theory, then analyze the bilateral cooperation relations under the mutual action of the theories.Chapter Three tries to summarize the progress of the international crisis management cooperation between China and ASEAN.
