Urbanization symbolizes the contemporary civilization. Compared with the social economic and industrialization development level, the China urbanization is relatively far behind, which has been constraining our general development pace. The international urbanization plays a pivotal role in providing more jobs, activating the domestic demand and stimulating the economic development, however, uncompromisable conflicts still exist such as the insufficiency of the municipal infrastructure, medical service, education service and public transportation, which were resulted from the initial unrestrained development mode. Once people start to realize the challenge, urbanization has already resulted in consequences as for traffic jam, death increase, poverty, pollution and crime rampancy. After that, the government brings in countermeasures to intervene the situation. The potential problems facing the China urbanization is more difficult to predict as the Chinese social situation is more complicated than our global peers in respect of huge rural population migration and economic development gap. This article analyses the social problems resulted from the rural population migration to cities such as crime, loss land protection of the rural workforce, insufficiency of the urban resource, and in the mean time, the article will advice on these challenges in order to strengthen the urban population control, steer the city migration direction and avoid excessive urbanization.
