On The Mathematical Applications In Law

Mathematics has many successful applications not only in the field of natural sciences such as astronomy, physics, chemistry, but also in the field of social sciences such as economics, history, politics, and so on. In this article, I elaborate the history status, the general method, the correlative branches of mathematics and the typical illustrations about mathematics applied in the field of law.Firstly, from section one to section three, I research respectively the history of mathematical applications in the field of foreign law in different periods, from the recent times before, to the recent times and to the modern times. In these sections, I introduce emphatically three primary aspects: the mathematical methods of economic analysis of law, the mathematical propositions of The Behavior of Law and the game theory of law problems, which belong to mathematical applications in the field of foreign law in the modern times.Secondly, in the fourth section, I introduce the general method of mathematics applied in the field of law: mathematical modeling. I also expound five branches of mathematics usually applied in the field of law, these five branches are elementary mathematics, probability theory and mathematical statistics, operations research, fuzzy mathematics and set theory, and demonstrate respectively the processes of five mathematical methods applied in the field of law by using five specific illustrations, these five mathematical methods are Q - value method, correlation analysis, linear programming, fuzzy choice and set operation.Finally, in the fifth section, I introduce the history of mathematical applications in the field of law in our country. In this section, I introduce emphatically the development of mathematical applications in the field of domestic law in the modern times. I also analyze the international status, the reasons and its countermeasures of the mathematical applications in the field of law in our country.
