Study On Production,Distribution And Consumption Of The Edible Fungus In Beijing

The industry of the edible fungus, a booming industry, has become an important industry on promoting the development of agricultural economics and increasing the farmers' income in suburb of Beijing. Why does the industry of edible fungus in Beijing develop rapidly? Which factors do promote the rapid development of the industry of edible fungus in Beijing? Where will the industry of edible fungus in Beijing go when it faces the cutthroat competition at home and abroad? In order to provide some thoughts and supports for research in future, we try to analyze the factors which affect the development of the industry of edible fungus through studying on the production, distribution and consumption of edible fungus in Beijing.By the date based on the fieldwork, we adopt the research methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis and we made use of the EXCEL to do statistics analysis and the STATA to do econometrics analysis.On the part of production, by analyzing production status, region layout and variety structure, we found the factors which promote the development of the industry of the edible fungus in Beijing are technology innovation, industrialization management, multi-ownership, the development of the association of the edible fungus and cheaper migrating labors.On the part of distribution, by analyzing the links and models of distribution, we found free market of agricultural products and wholesale market has become the main distribution channels of the edible fungus in Beijing and supermarket will become the important place for distribution and consumption of the edible fungus in the future. On the part of consumption, by the survey data, we analyzed the consumer's consumption preference and action for the edible fungus and made use of the HECKMAN model to do econometrics analysis on the factors affecting the consumption of edible fungus. We found the purchasing place, age, schooling, income and other goods affect the consumption of the edible fungus. At last, we analyzed the factors which affect the consumption of some varieties of edible fungus.In the end, we draw the conclusions and put forward the suggestions.
