In general, the college graduates who major in Hotel Management should be senior managerial talents in the hotel. But actually this colony has not been favored by the hotel enterprises on the hotel human resources market of our country at present, at the same time these graduates have not thrown their due enthusiasm into positions of the hotel, the loss goes to other trade fields to seek job.After studying a literature review of research on hotel employeesturnover, the author creates a new concept------latent turnover, namely thecollege graduates majored in Hotel Management applying for the position in other industries and enterprises instead of hotels can be also regarded as a kind of talents turnover to the hotel. In the era of knowledge-driven economy, talents are the most important strategic resource of any enterprise. Therefore the latent turnover of those college graduates majored in Hotel Management has already be an urgent problem of hotels to be solved. Based research theory mainly on the Management Science, this text starts with questionnaire investigation and interview on college graduates and hotel' s managers respectively to find out decisive factors that cause the latent turnover, assesses its negative consequence to the hotel, the graduates, the university and even the society, further proposes the effective method to control and reduce the latent turnover that hotels should not only specially take a reserve-manager training program to cultivate their staffs with education of the university, but also try to develop their human resources in advance, contribute to college education of the Hotel Management discipline voluntarily, and finally find the most suitable employees. |
