The Role Of Psychological Contract Of Hotel Staff Turnover And Impact Studies

After nearly 20 years of high speedy development, the hospitality industry in our country has finished its form changing from the traditional management to modern management. It has become the international, market-directed and systematic industry. As an organization of economy and people, hotel's growth will always be changing. And the relations among the staff will be transforming too. In the changing courses, the physical and psychological states of the human resources are still changing. How to keep the hotel human resources work with efficiency and do not decline as the environment alters, which is the aim and the value of human resources management. At the present days, holding a person with ability is the key point of success in the fierce competition. But too much staff turnover brings a lot of trouble. In this paper, the author has summarized concept, evolution, content and peculiarity after doing lots of research of the psychology contract theories. On the other hand, I list the concept, factors and main models of staff turnover. It is pointed out that harmonious psychology contract will agglomerate the staff and psychology contracts violation will disperse the employees. In practice the author measures and investigates the psychology contract structure & content. Based on the hotel operation experiments, HRM and HB theories, the author draws a conclusion of full-time psychology contract management. That is the exploring, establishing, identifying, privity and crisis period management. The purpose is to reduce the staff turnover rate, to keep the excellent employees and to make up the core competition.
