Procurement Management In Engineering Project

Procurement management plays an important role in engineering project. Various factors including recognition of the importance of procurement management, improvement of procurement efficiency and decrease of loss in procurement progress have great influence on the successful implement and value increment of construction project. Procurement management in engineering project was studied by the basic characteristics of procurement and architectural production. In addition to this, the meanings of project procurement management and the influence of procurement on cost were analyzed. Moreover, implement of JIT procurement in engineering project was also studied. On the base of above discussion, two optimized procurement schemes were put forward. The analysis of USBuild in a procurement mode indicated the importance of the change of traditional procurement mode.
