The Review Of The Confidence Of Local Government In Group Incidents

In recent years, with the adjustment of economic and political interests caused a large number of group incidents. These group incidents throughout the various provinces (regions), cities, counties, involving companies, institutions, schools and many other industries and fields, affect the stability and development of our society. The reason lead the extreme social conflict eventually evolved into group incidents is mainly due to the lack of trust in local government. Therefore, analyze the case of group events and the relationship with group incidents and the confidence of local government, and summarize why the public lack of trust in local government led to group incidents. To propose the methods to increase pubic trust in local government, in order to prevent the occurrence of group incidents helpful to national development and social stability. This paper analyzed a group incident case occurred in Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province, found that public discontent with local government and gradually distrust local government include the local government's illegal behaviors and the imperfect aspects of public interest expression channel. According to these reasons, increase public trust in local government can prevent the occurrence of group incidents and maintaining social harmony and stability.
