Ideological Remolding Of Transformation Periods

The founding of new China, On October 1,1949,marked that the Chinese society have entered a new era. The CPC called on all the party members to make effort to learn Marxism-Leninism theory during the transformation periods so as to integrate domestic cultural thoughts and consolidate the new regime. The campaign to study the history of social development, flourishing around the founding of new China, was one of the most important component of the campaign. The campaign have made an important contribution to the ideological molding of transformation era, and it have played an important role in obtaining the social identity of marxism as guiding ideology in China, making people to master Marxist Historical Materialism and understanding the necessity of socialist victory in China. However, for the beginning and the end of the campaign and its significance in the history of ideas, there was very rare academic research specializing in the field. Therefore, the author is to do research specializing in it, to make an on-the-spot investigation on the background, basic process, the response of all circles of the society, way and form,characteristics, and the forming of common view in the national people's thoughts through the campaign, and to present a more comprehensive history of the campaign, which could be used for reference for the present age.This article is guided by the Marxist Historical Materialism, using a method of combination of history and comments, objectively analyzing the reason and results based on the deep digging of first-hand data, revealing every link of the process, completely showing the campaign's effect in ideological molding during the the transformation period, integrating the national cultural thoughts in the beginning period, establishing the Marxist-Leninist ideology as mainstream ideology and consolidating the ruling status of CPC, etc.
