A Research On College Students' Management In The View Of Administrative Due Process

As one of the important principles in law, administrative due process has not received enough attention in the colleges, which leads to frequent violation of the students'rights.This paper includes four main parts. The first part is the preface, introducing the objective, framework and methodology of the research and pointing out that it is of significance to apply administrative due process to the student management in colleges. The second part clarifies the relevant theories including the legal role of the colleges, the legal relationship between the college students and colleges, the leading administrative position of the colleges and the student- related administrative acts like changing students'identities, issuing degrees, etc. Based on the disputes in college student management, this third part demonstrates the inappropriateness of college student administration,trying to find out the causes and solutions. Providing the problems in the procedures of due process, the last part concentrates on cause analysis, making suggestions for the feasible implementation of the hearing system, administrative complaint system, administrative reconsideration system and judicial proceedings in the protection of the students'rights..
