Research On How To Improve The Schools' Fulfillment Of Obligations In Protecting The Right Of Privacy Of College Student Based On The Investigation Of Typical Colleges Located In Wuhan

The voice of people aiming for protecting privacy is louder and louder along with the development of times and legal constructions. To be a group of college students who are accepting education and management from school that their pursuit of protecting privacy are limited by the management of school. So to discuss how to improve the schools' fulfillment of obligations in protecting the right of privacy of college student is very important. The discussion has significance for carrying out the principle of managing school affairs under the rule of law and alleviating the dispute between college student and school in protecting the right of privacy.The article is divided into four chapters depending on the ideal of what the problem is and why it happens and then how to solve the problem and on the basis of the investigation of five typical colleges located in Wuhan in protecting the right of privacy of college student.The first chapter tells us what the right of privacy of college student is and the significance in protecting it. The second chapter sums up the situations of five investigated schools in protecting the right of privacy of college students mainly shows in the rules of school management and this chapter also tells us what problems are in the rules of school management and the practices of school management and then analyzes the reasons of problems. The reasons are: the complicated school life, the confusing legal relationship between school and college students, the lacking in due process in the management of school, the shortage of legal awareness in some of teachers and managers, the lacking legal awareness of some of college students and the traditional concept in education. The third part tells us what we can learn from the practice of American school in protecting the right of privacy of students. The conclusions come in the fourth chapter that the college has to recognize the legal relationship between school and college students and persist due process in the management and try to improve the legal awareness of teachers and students to improve the schools' fulfillment of obligations in protecting the right of privacy of college student.
