Study On The Approach Of Village Promotion Of Democracy At The Grass-roots Level Under The Modernization Angle Of View

Under the perspective of modernization, the thesis investigated and studied the problems and the main solutions during PDGLV (the promotion of democracy at the grass-roots level in villages, PDGLV). Firstly, the concept of village modernization and basic theory of PDGLV were summarized. Then, from the aspects of history and reality, the theory of village administration, the development history and current situation of village organizations and democracy at the grass-roots level were discussed separately. The thesis also summarized the status and function of PDGLV for our nation's construction of modernization. Moreover, the influence of PDGLV on village politics, economy, culture and farmer modernization were analyzed, and then concluded the problems during PDGLV. Finally, some effective measures were proposed to resolve these problems.Based on the study of PDGLV at home and abroad, from the aspects of dialectical materialism and historic materialism, under the background of the development of PDGLV in china for 20 years, using the principle of combining theory and reality and with the method of integration of history and logic, the thesis analyzed the effect on farmer modernization and the progress of Chinese modernization completely since the PDGLV was carried out. Using the method of combing sociology, economics, and politics, the problem of PDGLV in China were studied in this thesis, and the matter of village modernization also was investigated by regarding villager autonomy as a point of breakthrough. Furthermore, in the theoretical aspect, based on modern theory, the thesis also analyzed the effect of PDGLV on village politics, economy, culture and village modernization. Under the politics research angle of view, the matter of village grass roots which has not been studied in depth in academia was discussed. In the aspect of practice, the problem in village politics modernization and the method to deal with these problems were proposed by analyzing the status quo of village modernization.
