From The Southern Snow To Research Government Public Crisis Management

As the important duty of a modern government, to maintain public safety is the requirement of setting up a harmonious society. It is very important for a government to meet an emergency management for abrupt and natural disasters, to form a sound and perfect emergency management, to improve abilities to cope with crisis, to set up the government good image. Influenced by the warming of global weather and other effects, abrupt and natural disasters have caused great disasters to some countries and areas, it is also for China. So, the local government must pay much attention to its protection work from disasters, offer utmost effort to lower the losses of the economic development and people's properties caused by natural disasters, therefore ,to ensure the sustainable development of local economy. Since lack of concepts and equipment, people have no idea when facing such a huge joke given by nature. In this thesis, by using relevant principles of public economics and management science and combining the calamity of southern ice in 2008, the author probes into in the problem existing in the natural calamity emergency management of our government in new period and proposes clearly that the government should set up an emergency management system efficiently in order to tackle the sudden crisis. In this way, government's social management and public service could be strengthened so as to reflect the superiority of the socialist system better and realize the all-round development of the human society better. On the basis of fully discussion of study value, the author emphasizes on the problem of how to strengthen emergency management. should be taken so as to build a comprehensive, professional and applicable emergent administrative system with a whole government and society type character.
