The main purpose of land neatening is trying to achieve the strategic goal of "the equilibrium between the farming land occupation and the farming land compensation" by increasing efficiency farming land occupation and decreasing farming land occupation due to urban constructions and agriculture internal adjustments within 3~5 years. The main purpose of the later is to improve land quality by emphasizing the wasteland exploitation and the catastrophic and destructive land harnesses. Land neatening and programming based on Dashahe River in Feng County, JiangSu province, technique designs, designs feedback and land neatening implementation and management are lucubrated theoretically and practically; And the arguments of land neatening feasibility are carried out. Adopting farmer participating land neatening and programming can not only make farmers participate in land neatening actively and forwardly and the will of farmers are fully reflected as well. The feasibility study was conducted based on previous study work. Through pilot study the theoretical ground is further improved, thus enabling the wide application of the research theory and methodology. The thesis performed an in-depth analysis on following four aspects: (1) introducing the background of research, its implications, the research advancement both at home and abroad, and the research methodology ; (2) elaborating the study content , study method and study route of land revitalization of farmer participating land neatening and programming; (3) emphasizing the course land neatening. programming describing the case study conducted by the thesis work in which it mainly introduces the biophysical and socio-economic conditions, land-use patterns; (4)the potential and the status of land revitalization; and it proposes the principles and objectives in land revitalization planning; taking the status quo of land-use and future goals and planning of land-use as the entry point to perform necessary feedback analysis; through case study, some anticipated results can be achieved by studying both land revitalization and farm household participation; some problems arising from land revitalization planning are discussed.
