The Research On FIEs Industrial Cluster In China

Under the background of economic globalization, the foreign direct investment (FDI) has been a major motive force behind the high-speed growth of Chinese economy. In recent years, with the more and more FDI flowing in China, foreign invested enterprises (FIEs) have shown in some regions the trend of industrial cluster, which has aroused a lot of attention. FIEs industrial cluster has remarkable impact on economic development of the region where it is located and can promote the level of using FDI, so our government attaches much importance to it.This thesis mainly focuses on the concept and characteristics of the FIEs industrial cluster and compares it with the common industrial cluster. This thesis also points out the internal cause of the formation of FIEs industrial cluster, summaries its growing conditions and analyzes the cases of FIEs industrial cluster in China. At the end of paper, it is concluded that we should pay much attention to the above trend of FIEs industrial cluster and take effective measures to boost the growing of FIEs industrial cluster in China.
