Study On The Implementation Strategy Of Regional Information-based Manufacturing And Its Application

The Information-based Manufacturing Engineering is an inevitable trend of Manufacturing. To promote the implementation of Information-based Manufacturing Engineering in our country, the National Ministry of Science and Technology has set up a project, "National Information-based Manufacturing Engineering". Regional Information-based Manufacturing Engineering is an important part of it. How to promote Regional Information-based Manufacturing Engineering effectively becomes an imminently research problem. So research on the implementation strategy of Regional Information-based Manufacturing Engineering has significant importance.Firstly, on the basis of analyzing the connotation, target architecture and technology framework, this paper puts forward a kind of implementation mode of Regional Information-based Manufacturing Engineering , including guiding rule, working mode, organization mode, promoting plan , process mode, technology supporting mode ,etc; Secondly, this paper presents an Application Service Providing platform (ASP platform)mode to solve problems which the small and medium enterprises face in the process of Information-based Manufacturing, such as technology problems, financial problems, qualified personnel problems, etc .This paper establishes a system architecture of ASP platform with 6 tiers, sets up function architecture, and discusses its operation mode and commercial mode. The outcome of this paper has been applied in Chongqing and proved to be feasible and successful.This paper is an important part of the National R&D Project "Research on the Key Technology of Manufacturing Information and its Application (Chongqing) " (2001BA201A28) responsible by me. The research achievement is proved successful in the practice.
