Researches Into The Differences And The Forming Mechanism Of Human Capital Between The Eastern & Western Part Of Shandong Province

Human capital is the essential element in the growing of regional economy so that the level of human capital of one area becomes one of the motives which determines the development of this area. Therefore, researches into the difference of region and forming mechanism of human capital has realistic significance and also can provide the proof for promoting the balance development of the region.The thesis begins with the analysis of the present situation of human capital and takes Shandong Province as an example. Then, by the ways of quantity-oriented research and quality-oriented analysis, it focuses on analyzing the differences of regions and forming mechanism of human capital. Lastly, it proposes the methods to narrow the regional differences of human capital.The thesis is composed of five parts.The first part is the introduction. This part consists of three sub-parts, which are the researching actuality of human capital, the significance and the purpose of the thesis and the researching methods. By the analysis of the researching actuality of human capital, the shortcomings in the researches of human capital are found and then the researching purpose, meaning and methods are fixed.The second part deals with the regional human capital theory base and index system construction. Based on discussing the two theories about human capital (the one theory focuses the analysis of labor elements, the other concentrates on the model which constructs the economy into technological growth), this part concentrates on constructing the index system, which can evaluate the forming differences of regional human capital. The twenty relevant indexes are chose.The third part is the comparative analysis of differences of human capital between the eastern & western part of Shandong Province. Human capital concerns with many aspects, such as the quantity, the educational level, the healthy condition of laborers, and so on. Because of the limitation of the data, the article only makes the regional comparison among the main aspects including the total quantity, the quality and the accumulating ability of human capital. On the basis of the analysis on the main aspect of human capital, it uses the methods of quantity-oriented and quality-oriented to make a comprehensive analysis. From the above analysis, it comes to the conclusion that the level of human capital of the eastern part of Shandong Province is obviously higher than that of the western part.The fourth part deals with the researches into the forming mechanism of human capital differences between the eastern & western part of Shandong Province. As there are too many elements which result in forming the differences of human capital between the eastern & western part of Shandong Province, the paper just analyzes the elements from thepoint of the investment, demanding capacity and social environment. As far as the quantity-oriented method is concerned, it makes use of the constructing index system of the second part and the SPSS software. Therefore, it gets the result that the eastern part of Shandong Province provides the favorable conditions, which are in the ways of investment, demands of human capital and social environment, to promote the level of human capital and make the level of human capital higher than that of the western part.The fifth part is narrowing the distance among regional human capital and promoting the economy of Shandong Province to develop in a balanced way. This part focuses on the four sub-parts. They are as follows: (D Enhancing the investment capacity of human capital and making the investors multiplex.
