Study On The Correlation Between Human Capital And Regional Set-up Of Production Coordinating--Taking Shandong Rovince As Example

Human capital and set-up of production are the two keys to modern regional economic growth. Human capital is one of the crucial factors which drive regional economic growth, while set-up of production determines the level of regional resources-deploying and resources transformation, that is, the level of wealth-creating, the two are the different dimensions of regional economy, and the correlation study between the two is of great importance in theory and practice.The thesis focuses on the correlation between human capital and regional set-up of production coordinating in the viewpoints of geography economy and demography. The thesis begins with a glimpse of the study of human capital, finding that the study is scarce on the correlation between human capital and regional set-up of production coordinating. By studying the changes in human capital and set-up of production during economic development of Shandong Province from 1978 to 2001,the thesis finds out there is a correlation between human capital and regional set-up of production coordinating, then analyses the correlation, accordingly, puts forward some suggessions to strengthen the correlation. The thesis encompasses five sections.The first section comprises of the glimpse of human capital study, the blank of human capital study, the importance and goal of the correlation study, the way of the study. Of all the four, it is the most important to take a glimpse of the existing study on human capital and find out the blank in the study so as to pre-set the aim, significance and relevant techniques in the study.The second section tries to find out the correlation between human capital and regional set-up of production coordinating. By analyzing the changes in economic development of Shandong Province from 1978 to 2001, the thesis pays great attention to the changes in human capital and the set-up of production. The fast changes of Shandong Province's set-up of production are the outcome of composite influences of demand, science and technology,competition , policy, while the boom in human capital storage is mainly owing to the economic leading law. Subsequently, there must be a correlation between human capital andset-up of production coordinating-human capital offers a support to regional set-up ofproduction coordinating, and regional set-up of production coordinating demands the relevant progress in human capital.The third section mainly explains the support of human capital to regional set-up of production coordinating. First, the paper puts forward the three phenomena of imbalance of regional set-up of production, namely unreasonable resources distribution, low production efficiency and unequilibrium of supply and demand, as the aspects of the study. Secondly, the thesis analyses the techniques, namely, resources-deploying structure, producing structure and supply and demand structure by which human capital supports the set-up of production coordinating. Thirdly, the thesis introduces the influences exerted by human capital investment and storage to regional set-up of production coordinating.The fourth section devotes itself to explaining the demand in human capital in the course of set-up of production coordinating. The chapter first builds a model as the basis of depicting the demand, then divides the economic growth goal and anticipates the physical capital input available of Shandong Province in 2010, finally indirectly determines the demand.The fifth section stresses the policies and measures to add up human capital storage so as to drive the regional set-up of production coordinating.
