A Study Of Consumption Structure Optimizing Issue Of Rural Residents In China

China is an agricultural country. The number of rural residents accounts for a considerable proportion of the population of China. The issue of well-off society of China is mainly the problem of peasants' well-off society. In order to exploit the country market and expand the domestic demands, we have to optimize the consumption structure of rural residents at present. At the same time, the levels of the consumption structure of rural residents is still on the low side. Some of them still have a long distance away from the low well-off consumption. Therefore, how to optimize the consumption structure of rural residents is one of the important problems of entirely building a comparatively well-off society.In the past few years, many scholars have been researching into a series of issues on the consumption structure of rural residents. That established a sound theoretical foundation for inducting peasants to consume properly. On the base of summarizing the known theories, the thesis bases itself upon the status in quo of rural residents' consumption to analyze main problems in existence of the consumption structure of rural residents' and main factors of affecting the consumption structure optimizing qualitatively and quantitatively. The thesis also puts forward some corresponding countermeasures.Although along with the development of economy, the consumption level of peasants has advanced at large in China, the consumption structure improved in great, the consumption quality heightened gradually, it does not cast off the low level of consumption pattern in the whole . The consumption structure is commonly monotonous and the proportion of the enjoyable and developmental consumption is not high. Furthermore, there is a large gap of consumption structure among different income estates,and the phenomena of unwise and unbalanced consumption is very serious among some of peasants. Many factors affect the change of the consumption structure . But at present the main factors are, peasants' income increasing slowly, the bad consumption environment in the rural area, the qualities of many peasants not being high, etc. Consequently, increasing peasants' income by many approaches, lightening the burden on the peasants in real earnest, improving the consumption environment in the rural area at best we can, developing the rural education, establishing and strengthening the social security systems in the rural area, properly exploiting the rural consumer credit, etc. are the key measures we can take against optimizing the consumption structure of the rural residents in China at present.
