The establishment of the college-enterprise interaction mechanism in vocational education of petroleum aims at promoting the accord development of the efficient cooperation among the enterprises, colleges and researchers, which has proved to be successful home and abroad. The expected effect of the interaction between the enterprises and colleges largely depends on the establishment and improvement of its operating system. The colleges and schools in this essay mainly refers to the professional colleges and secondary schools of petroleum, and the enterprises, to the enterprises under CNPC.This essay defines the interaction mechanism between the petroleum colleges (and schools) and the petroleum enterprises and then describes its features by discussing the status quo of the cooperation activities in the vocational education of petroleum. The establishment of the college-enterprise interaction mechanism in vocational education of petroleum is an organically working system featured in its systematizing, inter-working and mutual-benefiting. In this system, the petroleum colleges(schools) and enterprises co-adjust the professional education through multi-participant activities, and become the co-winners by maximizing the enterprises' profit and sustaining the steady development of the professional education, by bringing into the full play of their functions and advantages, exchanging the talented, sharing information and resources. The basic elements of the cooperative system and the interrelations among them are the connotation of the mechanism. An efficient mechanism lies in the inspiring and maintaining of its inherent cooperating impetus when its different elements are well-controlled.The essay also analyzes the motivation with which the petroleum colleges (schools), the petroleum enterprises and the society establish the college-enterprise interaction mechanism in vocational education of petroleum. On the basis of the analysis, the author presents the main content of and the suggested approaches to the college-enterprise interaction mechanism, viz. renewal the notions on school-administrating, systematizing the personnel management, setting series of the planned targets, making a feature of the specialties setting, the curriculum and the workshop practice. The approaches also include the establishment of the systems of the talented-exchanging, the versatile-student training, the scientific-research cooperating, the employment-centered career guiding, the cooperative superintending and evaluating of teaching and the cooperative organizational learning. In the end the author illustrates the operating system by a successful case for references to the practice of the establishment of the college-enterprise interaction mechanism in vocational education of petroleum.
