Informatization Is An Inevitable Choice Of Quickening Urban Modernization Of China

In 2002,16th National Congress of Communist Party of China pointed that the informatization is an inevitable choice of quickening industrialization and modernization of China. Then, the word of "informatization" is very popular. The informatization has been in focus in academe in the upsurge of studying 16th Congress Spirit all over the country.It is noticeable that people always study informatization together with either industry or management. Few people fall together with urban development. As result, the data about informatization and urban modernization available is scattered and unshaped. In fact, this problem should be paid more attention because it has active sense to such country as China that need reach urbanization and urban modernization urgently.This text adopts many methods to introduce the author's lemmas, including theory analysis, empirical analysis, general analysis and typical analysis. By comparison between some foreign countries and China, the author tries to describe the problems about informatization and urban modernization as fully as possible. Based on the clear definitions, the author explains the effect of informatization on the main factors of forming urban modernization one by one to prove that the informatization is very important to quicken urban modernization of China. The deductive method used in thetext is an innovation in the analysis means.After demonstrating the action of informatization for urban modernization theoretically, the author summarizes the shortages of Chinese informatization by contrast with overseas. And the author points out that the government should be the main drive of informatization at present. On the contrary, many scholars think enterprises should be the main drive of informatization. But the author considers that only government has enough abilities to finish some necessary steps of the course of informatization. It is decided by both history and reality. In this sense, this viewpoint is the other innovation of this text.In the rear of the text, the author puts forward some relevant suggestions on the basis of the proved views before.To sum up, the theme of this text is that the government should be the main drive of informatization of China on this stage.
