In recent years, this problem is also becoming more and more serious in the developing countries, especially in China. Whether the problem of old-age security can be solved well or not will influence the stability and development of a society. As a start of carrying out the old-age pension system, the study on the styles of raising funds is very important.This thesis is scheduled as follows: PrefaceIn this part, the author introduces briefly the importance and the urgency of study on the styles of raising funds for Chinese urban old-age pension.Chapter one: General Demonstration on the Styles of Raising FundsThree styles are introduced and compared in this chapter. The advantages and shortcomings of each style are showed clearly by this way. Then, the author analyses several main factors that will influence the selection of the styles.Chapter two: International Comparison of Raising Funds StylesThe styles of raising funds of three countries, as the examples, are mentioned in this chapter, which are Germany, Chile and Sweden. The author introduces their own style of raising funds and discusses them. The author believes that it will be helpful for China to consider which style it will be fit for.Chapter three: the Style of Raising Funds for Chinese Urban Basic Old-age PensionIn the first section of this chapter, the author reviews the history of the revolution about the styles of raising funds for Chinese urban basic old-age pension. But after the part-fund style was carried out, there still occur many problems.
