Research On Gap And Countermeasures Of Regional Economy Among Guangdong.Hong Kong And Macao

The economy of Hong Kong has been developed and reached the top level in many fields in the world. The economy of Macao has not been quite developed yet, but it is more advanced than Guangdong in some fields. Though Guangdong is one of the richest provinces in our country, there is still a gap between Guangdong and Hong Kong. Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao are neighbors. They have the close tradition culture. After Hong Kong and Macao returned to the homeland, the economic cooperation of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao has obtained the perfect superiority. Nowadays, the cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to realize the harmonious economic development of the three regions has become a hot topic. In view of the above, this paper researches the developing trend of the economic gap among the three regions by the method of statistical measure and actual analysis. Also, some relative countermeasures will be put forward to shorten the gap. The whole paper falls into five parts as follows: Part one: Briefly introduce the conception of regional economy, the rules about dividing into regions, and the purport of economic cooperation among regions. Point out that the economic cooperation among the three regions is an efficient means for the three regions to develop together. Part two: Look back to the history of economic cooperation among Hong Kong, Macac and Guangdong. Prove that the economic cooperation among the three regions has a perfect superiority today. Part three: Appraise the economic level from six aspects. Select some indicators to compare and analyze the economic difference and gap among the three regions. Part four: Set up the economic forecast modes for Guangdong and Hong Kong by applying the software 揝PSS?based on the time lists of the existing indicators. Utilize the values of the model-forecast indicators to analyze the alteration of regional economic gap between Guangdong and Hong Kong. Part five: Submit the countermeasure of regional economic cooperation of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, which will shorten the gap and promote the three regions?economy to develop harmoniously.
