Study On The Relation Between Chongqing Industry Of High Education And Development Of Regional Economy And Countermeasure

As a youngest municipality directly under the jurisdiction of the central government, Chongqing is facing the historic opportunity in development of West China. The Chinese entrance of WTO as an important incident. It will have a great and deep influence on Chongqing. In this big background, In order to catch the opportunity and meet the future challenge and promote the development of Chongqing, Chongqing must have the rational and advance structure of industry. It is the most important for this course to have the excellent talent and high-tech production besides the capital. But the high education in Chongqing has a low level and can not carry out the "Double high" advantage to support the adjustment of industrial structure in Chongqing and development of economy sufficiently. Therefore, developing the high educational industry of Chongqing is a urgent task at present.This dissertation regards the high education as a industry, and studies the nature and trait: though high education has the nature of public interest, it has the common sense with the other industry ,namely nature of economy, nature of production, nature of commodity and nature of market. and its most important trait is to has the "double high " advantage ,namely the high talent and high-tech fruit. It discovers the internal and close connection between the high education and the economy. It studies the good promotion between the high education and economy by educational economics and the theory of human resource on the base of above analysis. One hand, economy and the development of society determined by economy determined the developing rule, quality and increasing speed of high education, the other hand, "double high " advantage of high education promotes and pushes the development of economy by critical human resource and technology resource, and it is an important increasing spot of economy and solution to relieve the contradictory of employment. On the basis of above analysis, this dissertation studies current situation from the aspects of present scale, level and condition of running the high education, structure of college and major, distribution of high education, system of management and school industry, and summarizes all kinds of problems which occur in the relation between the high education and economy, on the basis of which, this dissertation put forward the countermeasures from the aspects of government, production, learning, research, capital and intermediate, and specially emphasizes to make use of the great role to the development of high education fromthe government, capital market and intermediary institution, and so to optimize the high educational industry and realize the sustainable development of Chongqing economy.
