| In recent years, the mental heath of civil servants gets much more public concerns. Even though professional assistance was available, most civil servants would not ask for psychological consultancy when they suffered from psychological problems, which deteriorates the situations. This problem has called a lot of attention from researchers, at home and abroad. So, In this paper,civil servants as the subjects for the frist time,to reserch the relationship among psychological help seeking attitude and coping efficacy.On the base give advice to change civil servants' attitude to psychological assistance, and help them to cope with psychological crisis effectively.Based on the points of previous researches and the result of open-ended questionnaires about the attitude of civil servants to professional psychological assistance, and by independent-sample t-test and one-way ANOVA analysis, this paper checks out the effect of population statistics variable on attitude for assistance, analyses the relationship between civil servants' attitude to professional psychological assistance and coping efficacy.Finally, this paper gets major conclusions as follows:(1) The attitude of civil servants to seeking professional psychological assistance includes 21 subjects, which belong to 4 dimensions:demand consciousness, tolerance of prejudice, trust to professionals, interpersonal openning. The questionnaire demonstrates a high-level reliability and validity, and is applicable to research on civil servants.(2) Civil servants'attitude to professional psychological assistance has these following features:From a gender perspective, there is significant difference between male and female at total score on attitude to assistance, male civil servants' the average score was higher than female civil servants; From the economic revenues, there is significant difference to experts trust, and the income of 3000-4000 yuan was significantly higher than the income of civil servants in the 2000-3000 yuan, From the marital status, psychological help seeking attitude in general, demand awareness and confidence of experts there are significant differences, and divorced or widowed in the civil service was significantly higher than unmarried and married; The age, location and attitude of psychological help seeking attitude there is no significant difference.(3) By correlation analysis, it shows a correlation between attitude to seeking professional psychological assistance and coping efficacy.(4) By regression analysis, it shows coping efficacy could be used for predicating the attitude to seeking professional psychological assistance. |
