He is skilled in fulfilling and enriching the Ci with his feelings from chapter-after-chapter. The theme of the Ci of Sun Guangxian is abundant and substantial, delineating from "Guiqing,""Yongshi," "Biansai," tradition and conventions.Besides reflecting the style of Wu Dai period, Sun Guangxian expresses affection with vigorous writing style in cold and remote tones, achieves the effect of "bitterness and lightsome of rhythm."His Ci applies readers with an impression of "far-reaching and chilly" beauty. Sun Guangxian differentiates his Ci from the other great poets, such as Wen Tingjun and Wei zhuang and takes one of the important places in Wu Dai period. It is important to study the influence of the Ci of Sun Guangxian in literature.
