The Study On "V不C" Structure's Lexicalization

On the"V不C"structure, most previous research focused on individualcases,the researchers described the processes of lexicalization , analyzed themotivations and mechanisms of lexicalization .We tried to study the"V不C"structure as a whole,and study the processes of lexicalization,the motivationsand mechanisms of lexicalization.We summarized the research status and pointed out our study perspectives inChapter 1. We described the synchronic distribution of"V不C"structure inChapter 2, in other words,the processes of lexicalization were described.The"V不C"structure has two typical semantic meanings, the first semanticmeaning is to express "expectation", the second semantic meaning is to express"possibility",the typical semantic meanings of"V"and"C"have a closerelationship with expressing the meaning of "expectation",in the"V不C"structurewith a higher lexicalization degree,the"V"are with a lower "action" meaningdegree,the"C"are with a lower"target" meaning degree,the"V不C"structureas a whole are with a lower "expectation"meaning degree,we also analyzed thesemantic meaning evolution of"V不C"structure during the lexicalizationprocess,these were the content in Chapter 3.The content of Chapter 4 were on themotivations and mechanisms of lexicalization of the"V不C"structure,we usedthe metaphor mechanisms to analyse the"V不C"structure becoming verb andadjective,used the syntactic factors to analyse the"V不C"structure becomingadverb,used the subjectivilization factors to analyse the"V不C"structurebecoming discourse markers.We studied the"V不C"structure as a whole,described the processes oflexicalization ,analyzed the motivations and mechanisms of lexicalization,analyzed the semantic reason why different"V不C"structure have differentlexicalization degree,analyzed the semantic meaning evolution of"V不C"structure during the lexicalization process.Maybe there were some mistakes on our describing and analyzing of the"V不C"structure for our limited ability ,butwe do hope we can give you some inspirations on the study of"V不C"structure'slexicalization .
