| Objective: By the year of 2008, the total scale of high education in China has reached the number of 29,070,000 people, and the undergraduate number was 20,210,200. Out of this number, the students from high professional schools occupied 53 percent. The frequent occurred abnormal incidents such as criminal behaviour, anoia being tired of studying, committing suicide indicated that the undergraduates'situations of learning psychology, fellowship psychology, amativeness psychology, choosing occupation psychology and personal development were not optimized. Facing to various social pressure, frustration or even hurting, they are more sensitive than children and adults. There are many students suffering various psychologial problems which are affecting their health in different levels. Compared with the students from common universities, the students from high professional schools have to face more challenges of physical and psychological aspects, even the environmental changes. They are suffering various pressure from their learning, finding a job and mutual relationship. Especially the students from high professional medical schools, multi-level pressure can cause their psychological bepuzzlements and impediments, and some students will get psychological problems or even diseases because of their weak psychological endurement. Withoout proper instruction, these problems will cause harm to their health, and some severe problems will cause their behaviour impediments or personal disfigurement.In recent years more and more attentions have been paid to the psychological health education. The college students'development and growth normally through these negative social livings have been highly considerated by scholars. The psychological workers and moral education workers have done a lot of jobs to study the situations of college students on the following aspects: psychological health, learning motivation, amativeness and sex psychology, making friends psychology, choosing job psychology, personal development. One of their major achievements is that assissting an individual to establish a positive self protection mechanism in order to explore their psychological potential and therefore to improve their healthy development. The ability to get rid of the influence of some negative events such as pressure, frustration or hurting is so called Resilience. Nowadays the study on resilience has become the hotspot in the field of psychology. But the study on the resilience of students from high professional schools is very rare. Through searching the CNKI full length issues data base, no issue on medical professional schools students'resilience has been found. Therefore the study of medical professional high school students'resilience and the psychological healthy education is very important.Methods1. Research objects: Using the full group sample way, we chose 2085 undergraduates (Freshman, Sophomore, and Senior) from two different medical high professional schools, one from a big city and the other from a common town. Under the construction of professional teachers, the full group finished the test and we received 2085 test papers, 2067 of them were effective papers. Out of the full group, male students were 340, and female 1727, ages ranged from 16 to 35(M=20.39, SD=1.43)2. Research tools: 5 measure lists were used in this research. All the test papers were provided and received on the spot. Each test paper was consisted of general information and maesure lists. The five lists were Resilience Scale for Adults(RSA), Self-report Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90), Youth Social Living Event List, Eysenck Personality Questionaire (EPQ) and Social Sepport List.3. Statistic means: All data have been calculated through SPSS 11.5 software, and major means were t test, correlation analysis, variance analysis and regression analysis.Result1. The resilience situation of the studentsa.The average resilience level of the students were comparetively high and reached 2.76(S.D.=0.41). The male students got higher scores on Self Identification(t=2.466, p=0.014) and Personal Planning(t=3.977, p=0.000) than the female students.b.There was no obvious difference between freshman, sophomore and senior on the resilience.c.There was obvious difference on social supporting facters between rich students and poor ones(t=2.073, p=0.038), but the total scores of resilienc was not obvious different.2. The analysis on the resilience and the psychological situations of the college studentsThe total score of SCL-90 of the students were obvious higher than the common Chinese adults. On the following five factors, as constrain, trepidation, anxiety, blues and psychopathy, the students were obviously higher than the common patterns(p<0.05, or p<0.01).The students with psychological healthy conditions gor higher scores on resilience than those with psychological problems, and there was obvious difference between two groups(p<0.01).3. The comparation of EPQ, SCL-90, Living Events and Social Support between the high Resilience score group and the low score groupThere were obvious difference on social support, personality, SCL-90 and negative living events between RSA high score group and RSA low group. The RSA low group got higher scores on psychopathy, negative living events and SCL-90 aspects.4. The analysis of the corelation between Resilience and the Influential Factors.There were obvious corelation between the RSA scores and the scores of separate factors with personality, SCL-90, negative living events and social support. There was coraletion between RSA scores and social support and extraversion, and negative corelation with psychopathy, living events, SCL-90 scores. There was no corelation between RSA scores and age, sex and economic conditions. The following 4 variable factors of extraversion, social support, psychopathy and living events reached an explaination rate of 29.9% to the resilience.Conclusion:The resilience level of college students was comparatively high. There were some difference resilience between male and female students, poor and rich students. The factors of extraversion, social support, psychopathy and living events can be of good prognosticating ability. The resilience condition could indicate mental healthy level of an individual. Therefore we can try to promote their reisilience through intetfereing the students'characteristic and improving social support in order to improve their mental health. |
