The Study On The Science Of Chun-qiu In The Republic Of China

The influence of the science of Chun-Qiu on the intellectual history, the culture history and the political history of China is far-reaching,but when the Republic of China set up, with sudden change of society, academic evolution and development,the science of Chun-Qiu also caught era color under the influence of numerous factors.This thesis regards studying in development of the science of Chun-Qiu in different eras as the foundation, carrying on the macroscopic analysis from respects such as literature studying, academic history and history of ideology and culture,etc.. In addition, this thesis also studies many well-known scholars'works on the science of Chun-Qiu. On the research approach, this thesis has combined literature studying, critical interpretation of ancient texts and annotating the angle studied, in order to better grasp the science of Chun-Qiu of this period.So far, because of lack system study work about the science of Chun-Qiu, so this thesis probe into and analyze the development of the science of Chun-Qiu in the Republic of China, which will have certain academic value in helping to hold Confucianism and the whole traditional culture in modern Chinese historical destiny on the whole.This article discusses the following aspects: Chapter one briefly discusses the evolution of the science of Chun-Qiu in different ages, which purpose is to trace the development of the course of the science of Chun-Qiu. Chapter two is the research of documents. From the catalogue, the distinguishing between truth and falsehood and the research of documents, it shows the characteristic of documents in the Republic of China. Chapter three, books research of the science of Chun-Qiu in the Republic of China.The scholars in the Republic of China not only concentrated on academic study on the science of Chun-Qiu, but also inquired into other aspects. They probed to the scholar's achievements about the author, times, value and so on of the science of Chun-Qiu with the help of new theory and the new methods. Chapter four discusses Kang Youwei,Zhang Taiyan and Liu Shipei's study on Chun-Qiu in the early years of the Republic of China. The science of Chun-Qiu in this period is still the continuation of traditional research methods. Chapter five discusses the diversification learns to Chun-Qiu after probing into the New Culture Movement background.In this period, the science of Chun-Qiu is not only diverse in form ,but also gradually combined with the trend of modern academic and scientific in content. Chapter six have further investigated each sent political force and scholar to utilize on what has been studied in Chun-Qiu during Anti-Japanese War period. Chun-Qiu contains a number of"Da-Yi", Nanjing national government, the Japanese imperialism and puppet used it to consolidate the rule, meanwhile, patriotic scholar such as Yang Shuda expound the fact of"Revenge","Resisting the Foreigners and so on in Chun-Qiu, in order to stimulate people's ambition of against Japanese imperialism. Chapter seven probe into the study on Chun-Qiu of the New-Confucian school in the Republic of China. The last chapter has expounded the modern academic transformation of the science of Chun-Qiu on the whole. The science of Chun-Qiu have changed into modern historiography, philosophy, literature study from traditional study of Confucian classics.Among the long history, the science of Chun-Qiu, being depended on and climbs with official politics all the time, has taken advantage of the tendency each other. Since modern times, having changed greatly inside the traditional society of China, the science of Chun-Qiu plays an important role as one political philosophy. In initial stage of the Republic of China, the scholars of the Confucianists and various political groups utilized the"Chun-Qiu-Da-Yi"("春秋大义")actively according to the needs of one's own. But with the spread of"science"and"democracy"during the New Culture Movement, a lot of scholar learn and go on the discussion from different angle to Chun-Qiu, the science of Chun-Qiu have changed into philosophy, historiography research too, which finished one's own to modern academic transition.
