Study On Mongolian Leather Plastic Art

Leather plastic art is the kind of plastic arts which constantly created and accumulated of long-term productive life of Mongolian. The Mongolian traditional leather plastic arts not only have a highly practical function and aesthetic value but also reflected the deep-seated aesthetic psychology of the Mongolian. With changing times, the Mongolian traditional leather plastic art has gradually recession, at the same time re-found his own path of development with of pure art. But with the increasing globalization of the economic and cultural, the Mongolian leather plastic art are facing a problem of how to inheritance tradition better and development. In this paper, the author through revealed the aesthetic value of the Mongolian traditional leather plastic arts and the characteristics of the Mongolian modern plastic arts, in aims to show the author's views about the problem of inheritance and development of leather plastic art.Paper is divided into four parts. The first part described the origin and historical development of the Mongolian leather plastic art.The second part discussed the Mongolian traditional leather craft and leather plastic art category, decoration and production crafts and analysis the aesthetic characteristics and national aesthetic psychology which implies.In third part, the author analysis the change of Mongolian traditional leather art in the new era and described the characteristics of the plastic art of modern times.Based on the above studies, in fourth part the author analysis the Mongolian leather plastic art how to inheritance better and development in the future.
