| With the transformation of social economics and development of technology, people have entered a totally different new era, a well developed information society. Material, energy resource and information are three essential items for survival and development of human society. We could say people could not live without information. Instant exchange of message accelerates the development of human society and culture.For the innovation and design of information products, the coming of information era brings both chance and challenge. Acting as the carrier and media of information exchange between person and person, person and society, while concentrating human's wisdom, information products dominant people's life gradually. It is becoming an indispensably part of people's life, and influencing people's lifestyle in reverse.With the influx of new technology into people's life, the "people-oriented" design, user-centered innovation and research and development phase enjoy popular support. However, in the design, we designers have to focus on users from their points of views, and study the basic needs of users in all aspects, that will be called human-centered design. The research of users' life style includes all aspects in users' life. It starts from the users' points of view, explores the potential user needs, targets consumer group, determines the design direction.Firstly, the theory systemic researches the user lifestyle and related theory and of the development status about information products. It sums up the lifestyle dimensions as: generation, ethnicity, outlook on life, values, communication concept, consumption, aesthetics and using style. Combination the theoretical research and case studies, It concludes and the relevance and future trends on the two points, which provides an effective and feasible theory on research and design work follow-up. At last, the paper researches users by questionnaires and other testing methods, and classified the 18-25 year old students in school into self-entertainment oriented, fashion-based, cost-type through data collecting and statistical analysis. Finally it combines the theory and the practice, and applies the theory on design practice. |
