Regarded as sunrise industry in 21th, animation industry is an another new growtharea in economy, which has a great immeasurable impact on national economydevelopment. However, the domestic animation industry at present still lagged far behindthe animation industry developed countries, such as U.S, Japan, South Korea, since Chinaanimation industrialization has no large-scale, industry chain is not perfect, and the processof derived products exploration and operation are not smooth. Because of like those,therefore all are being the urgent problems demanding prompt solution to our country. Thisessay takes the animation industry's development history as its breaking point, of U.S,Japan, South Korea and China, cutting through the concept of animation industry andindustry chain. Through comparative study, this paper points out the origin, presentsituation and superiority of advance in animation industry developed country; and analyzedthe present situation, advantages and disadvantages of our country.
