Study Of Wugang Sixian

Wugangsixian is an art style, popular in Shaoyang district in Hunan province.In the first part of the article, I research the history of Wugangsixian. On it, I want to discuss the reason of creation of the art. I analyze its characteristics of the music and sing which are have not been investigated before. In this part, I use some anthropologistic methods; try to find the atmosphere of Wugangsixian nowadays. In the second part, I write down all the melody labels and structures of these songs and performance styles. Besides that above, I also write the theatre style of Wugangsixian in nowadays, though it used to be a talking and singing form. In the third part of the article, I concern about the protection and development of the Wugangsixian.In this paper, I am not only writing the characteristics of Wugangsixian, but also considering its cultural atmosphere. I concentrated on how to sing these songs with folk words and pronunciation. It is the first time combining modern singing methods and primitive singing methods in Wugangsixian. Since Wugangsixia has been selected into the intangible cultural heritage protection list of Hunan province, what I have done in the paper is valuable.
