The whole globe is in the heat of Chinese,Chinese characters teaching as a foreign language is always developing rapidly.Learning Chinese characters is an important part of Chinese learning for foreign students who come here to learn Chinese.It's very important to certain the teaching content and select the teaching methods in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language to help foreign students grasp Chinese characters which is different from their mother tongue quickly and effectively.There are many differences among the students who come to China to learn Chinese from different writing systems and different cultural backgrounds.Their cognitive abilities of Chinese characters are different. In the character class, their learning strategies, the role of language migration, psychological characteristics, acceptance and learning important and difficult obviously different. Teachers should give full consideration to the actual situation of the specific object of teaching to individualized, select the appropriate course content and teaching methods targeted to promote the diversity of teaching methods. A review of this thesis is from the history of teaching Chinese as a foreign and present condition of teaching Chinese language in the bottleneck.It's about the definitiveness and enjoyment of Chinese teaching in the Chinese teaching as a forein language.And I discussed the content and the methods of literacy teaching in this thesis.The first section reviews and summarizes the history and status of Chinese characters teaching.First is about the history of development; Second is about the conflict between the surging demand and the long-term bottleneck;And the last is about the reasons from the teaching content,teaching methods,teaching objects and other aspects.The second section deals with the definitiveness of Chinese characters teaching.First is about the teaching objects and cognitive character ristics;Second is about the theoretical basis.The last focuses the definitiveness of Chinese characters teaching.The third part discusses the enjoyment of overseas Chinese teaching. First summed up the Chinese characters commonly used in teaching in China; and then focus on the enjoyment of overseas Chinese teaching.
