Well-Being is an important indicator of harmonious society.Subjective Well-Being, the happiness defined by psychologists from a special perspective, is a person's global evaluation of his life quality according to his own criteria. It is an important parameter in psychology reflecting life quality. Yi nationality is an important part of our country.Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture is the largest settlements. College students of Yi nationality are the backbone of the development in ethnic areas in future. The degree of their well-being influences the development and progress of those areas. Attention to the Yi student's SWB will facilitate their understanding of their evaluation of the overall quality of life and it provides theoretical basis of psychology for promoting and improving their SWB effectively.This research adopts questionnaire of SWB. Two hundred and thirty-five college students of Yi nationality were well measured, which is to learn differences of variables in statistics on SWB of Yi college students. Meanwhile, twenty-five students were interviewed to explore their subjective and objective factors which affecting their SWB. That provides theoretical basis of psychology for improving their SWB.The main results of the study are as follows:1) Generally speaking, the subjective well-being of college students of Yi nationality assumes the above average level at present. But individual differences also exist. 2) College students of Yi nationality, having different sexes, family structures, majors, grades, do not show conspicuous differences in subjective well-being while students coming from different regions, of different education and family economic conditions are quite different in terms of subjective well-being.(3)Two factors influence the SWB of college students of Yi nationality: subjective factors and objective factors. The former includes extroversion, optimism. The latter includes the factor of learning, employment pressure, economic conditions, social relation and health condition.
