The Analysis Of "You+VP" In Mandarin Chinese

Based on large-scale corpus, this thesis researches on "You+VP" form. It is made up of three parts: the introduction, the main body and the conclusion.The introduction introduces the significance, present situation, aim of the research as well as the theory, methods and corpus to be utilized.In chapter two, we mainly analysis the structure "You+VP" existing in Mandarin Chinese. Then, we analysis the grammatical function and grammatical meanings of the "VP". We made the conclusion that the structure "You+VP" is verb-object structure."You" is a verb , indicates the meaning of "existent". At the same times, we analysis the structure of the "You+Suo+VP".In chapter three, we mainly analysis the structure "You+VP" appeared after 90^th last century. From the semantic and the grammatical aspects, we analysis the "You+VP" again. We made the conclusion that the structure "You" is not a verb, but a adverb. We discuss the inner factor and the external factor of the new phenomenon respectively. Also, this paper tries to language development and language standard two perspectives in the format of the mandarin development trend.The fourth chapter: From view for "You+ VP" grammaticalization process. We can see from the ancient Chinese different structure, the relationship between "You+ VP" structure, there are tense functions from the very beginning, but only sporadically distributed all this usage. It is in modern Chinese dialects, Fujian Yue dialects Kejia dialect, Ou dialects in south of all did such a "You+ VP the origin of sentenceThe fifth chapter epilogue, a summary of the content is studied in this paper.
