The Collection And Study Of Historical Materials In MoZi

As a pre-Qin period literature book, MoZi contains a lot of historical information.The whole book records in varying degrees the history from five monarch times and three generations to the Spring and Autumn which is near two thousand years,such as myths and legends, ancient Tangu , historical events , political etiquetteand figures.That is a important materials for us to study the history and culture of ancient times, but little previous to this study. In this paper, based on previous studies, we study the issue initially.The full text includes four chapters. The first chapter is to summary the characteristics of historical information in MoZi,and make sure and analysis the numerous laws in the historical information.The second chapter is the summary and classification of the historical materials of Mozi.According to the sequence of historical development, we devide the things in the MoZi into five parts,sub-denebola historical events, historical events Xia, Shang historical events, historical events, as well as the Western Zhou Dynasty Spring and Autumn history of things, and on this basis also divided into a number of the subtitle, the scattered MoZi, the chapters in the history of information, carry out a detailed classification of exchange rate. Through this classification, we can see clearly the records of the Paleozoic history in MoZi, and have a clear understanding the historical role of MoZi in the study of the Ancient History.The third chapter is the part of the case studies of historical materials in MoZi.Under the premise of the summary and classification of the historical materials,and on the basis of previous studies,we study the four issues which reflect by MoZi.So,this part includes four sections: Section I, by exploring their predecessors to explore less Mo-tse 's view of history, we find that, Mo-tse has a strong history of the mandate of heaven. Mo-tse thinks that the heaven and the ghosts is dominant in the development of history; the history goes ahead in the order of "one arbitrary one rule";the driving force of historical development are MingZhu and XianChen. II, through the analysis the attitude of Mo-tse on Confucius and Confucianism, we can see the real opposition of Mo-tse is not Confucius himself, but some poor performance of the late scholar, which has a very important academic value for us to recognize the relationship between early Confucianism and Moism. III, through analysising the sources of Mo-tse's thought,we know the relationship between Mo-tse and other academic schools, and we know more clearly that Mo-tse's thought can be traced back to the study of the Western Zhou Baiguan, which also proves the thesis of "Zhuzi for Wang Guan theory".Section IV, through the analysis of ghosts materials in MoZi, we can grasp the Mo-tse thought of ghosts better.The forth chapter is the conclusion part of this article.
