A Study Of 'VX Jiu X' Pattern

This thesis focuses on the study of"VX jiu X"pattern.It consistsof three parts:the intrduction, the main part,and the conclusion.Theintroduction tells the background knowledge of the study of the pattern.The main part includes three chapters.Chapter Two studies the syntactical structure of"VX jiu X"pattern.It focuses on the nature of"V"and"X"in the pattern.It finds outthe selection rule of"V"in the pattern.It also classifies the elementsin the position"X".Finally,it analyses what kind of structure pattern"VX jiu X"belongs to.Chapter Three studies the syntactical function of"VX jiuX"pattern.It discusses the main syntactical function of"VX jiuX"pattern.Chpater Four studies the semantic and the pragmatic function of thepattern"VX jiu X".In the first part of this chapter ,it analyzes thesemantic feature of"V"and"jiu"first,and then discusses thesemantic feature of the pattern itself.In the last part of Chpter Four,itcarryies out the pragmatic function of the pattern"VX jiu X"Chpater Five draws a conclusion of the paper.It also raises thefurther study directions.
