This thesis discusses and studies one type of the preposition frame "Px yi lai(以来)".Besides the introduction and conclusion,there are four chapters in this thesis.ChapterⅠdiscusses the syntactic construction and semantic model of the preposition frame.Firstly,we analyze the structural features and the syntactic distribution of the frame.Then we discuss the semantic relation between P and x; analyze the semantic features and relations between the preposition frame "Px yi lai(以来)" and its main clause.ChapterⅡhas two parts.The first part discusses the syntactic function of the preposition frame.The preposition can connect sentence and confine paragraph,so dose the preposition frame.The second part discusses the regulations of the default of the preposition frame.In some sentences,there are no difference without preposition or"yi lai(以来)".So we try to find out the regulations and mechanism of the default.ChapterⅢmainly analyzes the preposition frame "Px yi lai(以来)" synchronically. The word "yi lai(以来)" had two meaning in ancient Chinese,ie:"yi lai(以来)" and "yi hou(以后)".However,in modern Chinese,just one meaning is left.We try to describe the framework for lasting as much detail as possible to discuss and conduct a reasonable analysis and interpretation.In the fouth chapter,through the syntactic and semantic analyzing of "yi lai(以来)" and "yi hou(以后)",we find that there are many similar points,for example,they can express a certain time after the past time.At the same time there are some differences between "yilai(以来)" and "yihou(以后)".We try to make the similarities and differences of the two words more clearly from the syntactic,semantic and other point of view,with aiming to help students distinguish and master more easily.
