Learning is a complex psychological process. In this essay emphasis is paid on the full-time sports players. Compared to the full-time students, the percentage of full-time players in China is rather small, while the number of the sports players is fairly big in our country.Players have more opportunities to meet foreign guests, players, coaches by the exchanging program, competition and training. However, some players are not able to speak in reasonably correct English or afraid to speak for the lack of self-confidence, though they have a certain knowledge of spoken English; Some can't make themselves understood. Some have to remain silent in communicating because they have no self-confidence or certain knowledge of spoken English. There are six chapters in this paper. The first chapter mainly introduces background and its research meaning. In the second chapter there is an overview of learning difficulty research on history and attributional theories in psychology field and the development of the theory, mainly with the attribution theory of Heider and Weiner. Then in the third and the forth chapters, with the help of effective questionnaires papers, the statistics from the players of Shanghai Sports Institute and the students of Shanghai Agriculture and Forestry Institute will be analyzed in attribution of English learning difficulties. There is a comparison between them. And also I pay emphasis on the teachers' behavior, which has great effect on players' English learning difficulties. At last I put forward some statics of developing student's good learning motivation in studying, stimulating their confidence, arousing their learning interest and directing them to make proper attribution. In a word, this investigation helps teachers to know English learning difficulties in full-time players and learn to instruct and train them to attribute in a correct way. All this will help us to improve our teaching efficiency.
