In the rural junior high school education,the number of students with difficulty in learning English presents a trend that increases gradually with the higher grade.The students' interest in acquiring English knowledge is weakened step by step.That's why these students to be bored of studying English and even playing truant,which has a negative impact on the students with learning difficulties.The Seventh grade is the most critical year for students to gain fundamental English knowledge in the later period.So how to transform students with English learning difficulties from seventh grade is a difficult problem for every English teacher.This paper selected the last five English students in grade X grade 7 in the standardized test as the study subjects.In the course of teaching,mainly using quantitative observation,interview investigation and action research for these five poor students to carry out investigation and research,the investigator observes and timely records the behavior of the five students for four months,and finds out their family situation,learning attitude,learning methods,learning motivation,their behaviors in home and in school and psychological changes in the process of growth etc through interviewing with the five students,their partners and their parents.After the comparative analysis,the study of five cases is analyzed,the investigator come up with a plan of action and some concrete transformation measures are implemented to help underachivers get rid of the trouble of acquiring English capabilities.then the investigator sum up the causes of their learning difficulties and the correct attribution were analyzed from the three aspects of family,teachers and students at first and sum up transformation measures,for example,combine school education and family education,try to get on with students based on love and patience,stimulate learning interest,and enhance learning motivation,who can use cooperative learning and update the education concept and adopt flexible and varied teaching methods.The result of the study is that these different transformation measures have a good effect on the application of the five cases.There has been a marked change in their attitude towards learning.They have developed a good learning habit and scientific learning method suitable for themselves.The speed of memorizing English words and notes has been speeded up,and the accuracy rate has been improved a lot.It has been able to consolidate review in a timely manner,and the vocabulary is constantly increasing,and the reading ability has been greatly improved.They have come out of their initial confusion about how to learn English and how to learn well.With clear learning goals and learning plans,their enthusiasm for participating in class activities is very high,their enthusiasm for learning has improved a lot,and their learning interest and learning motivation have greatly enhanced.From being persecuted,supervised,to the self-conscious,active learning,They all made progress during the last standardized test in seventh grade.Due to the the investigator's theoretical knowledge of education and the limited ability to conduct research in teaching,the relevant theories and practice of the students' difficulties are not deep enough,so there are some shortcomings.
