Vocality is a music art with greatest expressions.Good vocal performance requires not only wonderful voice and delicate skills, but also sincere emotions. However, in recent years, due to lack of deep understanding of the vocal works, quite a few singers are unable to fully express the implicit feelings of them.This thesis, discusses that, during vocal music class activities, the teaching focus should be shifted to expressions presentation from the mere skills in past. Through variety of teaching content and methods, the teachers help the students deeply understand the importance of expressions performances of vocal music.This thesis is made up of six parts:The introduction part presents a general picture of the research, including the background, the motivation and current research in this field.Chapter 1 illustrates the meaning of expressions presentation in vocal teaching from the perspective of psychology.Chapter 2 explores the importance of expressions presentation in the teaching of vocal music through the historical methodology as well as the current education policies and situations in our country.Chapter 3,4 and 5 are emphasis of the whole thesis.The three chapters give a detailed discussion on how to improve the expressions presentation from three aspects, including the first-stage creation--- the lyrics, melody and mood of the works, the second-stage creation--the language, voice, facial expressions and posture of the singers, and the teaching method--- the rich feelings experience, the stage practice expanding and the development of creativity and imagination.To sum up,this thesis aims to help the readers to have a more deep understanding to expressions presentation in vocal performance and offer theoretical guidance to the teachers in this field.
