| The emergence of culture's industrialization has a deep effect on both the internal and external factors of literature, which accelerates fundamental changes of literature production pattern. Trying at the new visual angle of industrialization, this dissertation analyzes changes of literature production pattern through the aspects of production system, producer and literary product respectively.This dissertation can be divided into four sections:Section 1 indicates the research background and gives a clear definition of culture's industrialization. It illustrates the emergence of culture's industrialization at home and abroad and the contemporary research condition of it. With the characteristics of industry leading, mass replicating and producing, and profit pursuing, the industrialization of culture has both advantages and disadvantages. On one side, it can promote the development of culture; on the other side, it also has certain restriction on it.Section 2 discusses the changes of literature production pattern. The pattern in the past is simple: writer's creation and reader's reception are the main factors of it. But after the industrialization of culture and literary institution's shift into enterprises, things such as the nature, the purpose and the manner of literature production all changed. There has appeared another participant in the process of literature production: literary merchant. Thus, the new pattern of literature production becomes a process from planning a theme to writer's producing, marketing till reader's consuming.Section 3 discusses the changes of literature producer. Due to the import of royalty system after industrialization, the pattern of profit distributing for literature producer changed- Literature has been directly link to treasure; writers have new identification and value selection; and the tendency for literature creation has been secularized. At the same time, a group of writers born after the eighties become favoured nova in this industrialized literary world, because they work effectively and meet the demands of contemporary youth-literature market.Section 4 indicates the changes of literary product. Firstly, the aesthetic tropism of literary product has made a shift from paying attention to elite, enlightenment, humanity to emphasizing on popularization and entertainment. Secondly, literary products begin to use different kinds of media, such as film, television and internet, to spread themselves, which made the literature production more colourful. |
