Magu, is a very famous god in Chinese taoism god system. There are many beautiful legend stories about her all around the country. Magu also stands for longevity and many worship ceremonies were held to memorize her in Chinese civil society. After the construction of Xiandu Temple in Magu Mountain in Tang dynasty, Magu became famous and popular in Nancheng . In Song dynasty, more than 8 emperors had given honors to Magu, and The local government must worship Magu in a certain time every year. In the later ming dynasty, with the construction of Sanzhong Temple,Hugong Temple and Yuying Temple, the Magu worship center also came to formation gradually . The formation process of this center is also the formation process of Nancheng outstanding people group. At the beginning of Qing dynasty, the local society experienced great changes, these changes results in the dissolution of the Magu worship center.
