It's a era of "design revolution" time of 21th century. Design is carrying the science,technology, art and culture to become the means essential of coordinate the individual and society, production and consumption. With the advent of a new century, more and more people started paying close attention importance to acquiring higher-level education. For contemporary colleges of design education to explore and research, construct of suit our country' s design professional curriculum system, It' s a Key aspect of development the design education,content society' s demand for qualified personnel and clipping development of society.it' s a seriously issue require we serious research.Design professional as a new in our higher education, and since formed a certain scale. But since this design education in our country has been within a short period of time, still have some problems a waiting urgent solutions. The United States is the most advanced country in the world and gradually set up a whole system of design education. This paper discusses, mainly from the design education' s curriculum philosophy, structure and content, form different perspective, by method of comparison, analysis of the curriculum' s goal, Principles, conformation and content in both china and USA, and for Conclusion of both countries design professional curriculum' s advantages and disadvantages based on the results of the analysis. Making contribution from both countries college design professional curriculum' s difference, discovers and knew the universal rule of the design professional course constructs. In view of our country' s design education present situation, Proposes the corresponding curriculum reform plan. In theory, enriches the theory achievement of the contemporary design professional' s curriculum construction in our country. In practive, contribute strength to constructs a reasonably and science curriculum system of Contemporary design education for our country.
