Perfectionism as a personality trait and thinking mode, is the interactive result of an individual and external environment for a long time, and one kind of relatively stable characteristic that an individual shows in different situation. The pursuit of perfectionism in the excellent people, such as undergraduate students, graduate students, is more noticeable. Undergraduate students in Chongqing have been surveyed by using"Chinese Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale"(CFMPS),"Egma Minnen av Bardndosnauppforstran"(EMBU),"Symptom Checklist 90"(SCL-90),"Achivement Motive Scale"(AMS),"Confidence Scale of Undergraduate Students","Test Anxiety Scale"(TAS).We have used SAS 9.1 to get the statistical data of rank test, correlation analysis, regression analysis and so on.We have gotten some conclusions from the study.1.The psychology of perfectionism in undergraduates of different backgrounds is different. Some elements of this difference have little influence, such as gender, grade, profession and students, but some of factors affect this difference, such as whether one child, learning achievement and mother's education level. 2.Parents can influence their children to form perfectionism. The perfectionism tendency of parents, that children have learned in the interactive relationship with their parents, has conveyed to their children through their words and deeds. This can explain that perfectionism is indeed a kind of stable personality trait, which comes mainly from the interactive learning of children with their parents.Besides,if parents foster their children with perfectionim tendencies, giving them too much care, excessive intervention and protection, this will also promote the formation of perfectionism of children. In addition, mother's education is the greatest impact in the factors from parents. It will be more favorable to the children's psychological development that mother'education is moderate.3.Perfectionism(except for"organization"dimension) will affect psychological healthy unfavorably. It will lead to some psychological problems, such as depression, anxiety, forced symtoms, terror and so on,and anxiety will be strengthened while students take the exam.4.The dimensions of"concern over mistakes","doubts about actions"and"parental expectations"are not benefical to the undergraduates'achivement motive and confidence. While the dimensions of"organization"and"personal standards"are benefical. Therefore we must find the positive effects of perfectionism to help undergraduates get achivements and be health in psychology. Perfectionism have some positive effects such as achivement motive and confidence, then many other positive effects are waiting us to be researched and found.5.We define the norm of CFMPS that non-perfectionists with less than or equal to 74,perfectionism tendences with less than 90 and more than 74,and tipical perfectionists with more than or equal to 90. |
