Diabolism, derived from the self-criticism of Daoism, is put in a attached position to Taoism as the time goes by. It has transformed from a imposed term to a fixed one, which reflects the characteristics of Chinese culture. Positioning as the criticism of Taoism was started from the Taoism rectification in Southern-Northern Dynasties. Since Southern-Northern Dynasties, the Diabolism has become synonymous for some heretic Taoists. Hand in hand with the development of Taoism, it still exists in the minds of a lot of people. Taoism criticism has its wide range of origins, such as historical origins, various traditions and the struggle results among Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. It was deeply influenced by the psychological impact of Chinese culture. The positioning of Taoism has an affect on the development of Taoism, but also a deep influence on Chinese culture. And it is a reflection of a deeper psychological Chinese culture. It is generated from the development of Chinese culture. This article tries to display in an all-round way the formation and influence of Diabolism in religious, historical, cultural, psychological analysis, and attempts to make a linear analysis about the Taoism development. Meanwhile it will give a view on the current hot Guexue with a calm consideration. It offers some valuable views to the development of indigenous psychology in the worldwide range. The full text is divided into three parts, the preface illustrates the current research in this area; the body tells the readers why Diabolism is demonical from positive and negative aspects and the cultural psychology behind Diabolism Positioning. Finally it comes to the conclusion: Diabolism is characterized with demon, a demon in mind that since there is demon, and this is a product of culture.
