Ethic Education is not only a difficult but also a focal point of Higher Education. English teaching materials is one of the most effective methods of the Ethic Education load. It should take the orientation of Ethic Education into account when compiled, and the materials should be considered the load of Ethic Education when selected.The author found the articles in three English course books: ( the series books of College English-integrated course book published by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press, which is the tenth-five national planning course book of Higher Education and the college foreign language course books recommended by Education Department; Experiencing English-integrated course book published by Higher Education Press, which is also the tenth-five national planning course book of Higher Education and English-planning course book of Higher Vocational Education- published by Central South University Press ) taking 49.4% of positive load, 52.1% of zero load and 10.4% of negative load in Ethic Education orientation by means of sampling analysis.The key step of Ethic Education depends on the transformation from ethic cognition to ethic behaviors and the function of ethic emotion can not be neglected in the process. The author found that the articles of positive, zero and negative load can play different functions on students' ethic emotion when analyzing the ethic load of the above three course books in the light of functional mechanism, and the author put forward the strategy of eliminating the negative load, moderate suppressing zero load and enhancing the positive load.
