Up to the present Chinese cartoon movie has a history of more than 80 years. Wan Brothers produced the first cartoon movie with the measure of imitation and copy before liberation of China; with the revolutionary foundation of PRC, Shanghai arts films Ltd. Produced bunches of excellent cartoon movies and formed the famous"China School"; After the Open up and Reform policy, the cartoon movie industry has gradually formed, however, it is in an embarrassed situation at present and engaging in exploring its own way of development. With the unique fascination, Chinese cartoon movies and the history of"China School"attracted more eyes in the movie industry.Under this circumstance, we analyze the history, current situation and form of Chinese cartoon movies with the aspect of aesthetics, in turn, propose constructive suggestions to its development. With original version of representative Chinese cartoon movies, the paper starts from the aspect of"taste"and analyzes the history and current situation of Chinese cartoon movies in order to find its position and way out of future development.
