Self-worth, in psychology reflects a person's overall evaluation or appraisal of his or her own worth. It encompasses beliefs emotions and perhaps, behavior. Self-worth has been suggested as a basic human need. So reasonably associated inner self-worth with respect of moral trait could play an important role in establishing positive personal motivation in general. Based on this assumption, this study had profoundly investigated the potential factors that could influence the construction of a proper self-worth among Hohhot Sports school students, study the feature and current trend of self-worth based on various demographic parameters including gender, age and type of academic.Study shows(1) the female students in the Hohhot Sports School have overall higher level of expectation on self-worth, individual orientation interpersonal value feeling and the social orientation ethical value feeling than that of the male students respectively, no significant difference observed among other measurements.(2) The result of the independent sample T-test on students that come from different regions shows that the social orientation general self-worth of the rural area originated students are higher than that of the students from the cities. No remarkable difference observed among other dimensions.(3) Among the individuals of different grade, in particular in personal oriented family value aspect, junior high student shows remarkable lower self-worth than that of the high-school student, while the university student and high-school student, either junior or senior didn't show any noticeable difference in this perspective. (4) There are great variables existed among students of different majors, especially in their self-worth, individual orientation interpersonal value feeling and the social orientation psychology value feeling dimensions. Shoots arrows students and Tae Kwon Do students are high in individual orientation interpersonal value feeling. Both kick boxing and Tae Kwon Do students have comparatively higher social orientation psychological value feeling, but the soccer students, somehow, lower in this aspect.(5) Students who have had been trained for less than three years, have higher score in individual orientation interpersonal value feeling survey, than that of whom had been trained for four to six years, but not on that for seven to nine year trained student. The individual orientation's family value for students been trained for three years or less, is lower than that of seven to nine trained students, the difference is significant . There's no noticeable difference among other dimensions.(6) Intrinsic factors (such as object in life, participative qualifications, and whether prize) and extrinsic factors (such as training manner, teammate manner and family member manner), performed on various dimensions of self-value feeling influence factors.(7) Six factors (object in life, participative qualifications, whether prize, training manner, teammate manner and family member manner) are obviously related to self-worth.(8) The regression analysis result showed that family member manner, teammate manner, whether prize, object in life four factors separately to enter the overall self-worth general self-value feeling individual orientation, in the general self-value feeling society orientation regression equation. They are the primary factor. Through the investigation of current self-worth among the Hohhot sport school students, we realize that to guide the students to gain for a proper self-worth, the important thing is to improve parents'and teachers' overall quality, encourage them involving updated psychology education skill in their education, simultaneously, plays the school leading role.
